This large, centered dragonfly is busily fluttering among stylized flowers, unmindful that both bands (# 18) and bases are acrylic painted on a choice of raspberry or periwinkle blue ground. Bases are sealed with 2 layers of polyurethane.
Bands are sized, finished with usually a Waverly fabric, made adjustable to fit comfortably and reattached to the compositioin base with brass tacks. Professional finishing optional ( $45.00), but highly recommended.

Composition bases are acrylic painted and protected with 2 layers of polyurethane. Bands, on #18 mesh, are hand-painted and able to be adjusted to fit comfortably.
